Sheriff's Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 45-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 1:20 a.m. Thursday in the 3400 block of Airport Road on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

• Marjorie Alice Rumbold, 38, an ad production worker from Florida, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Thursday on a warrant charging felony embezzlement of a motor vehicle. Bail was set at $25,000.

• A 34-year-old homemaker was arrested at 8:54 p.m. Monday on a probation violation. Bail was set at $10,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Court order violation in the 200 block of Lee Street at 2:07 a.m.

• Vehicle theft report in the 600 block of Richmond Avenue at 8 a.m.

• Battery report in the 3400 block of Airport Road at 12:56 p.m.

• Battery report in the 1100 block of West King Street at 1:07 p.m.

• Residential burglary report in the 4100 block of Mina Way at 3:28 p.m.

• Battery report in the 1100 block of West King Street at 4:14 p.m.

• Battery report in the 1200 block of Woodside Drive at 6:11 p.m.

• Accident reports were taken on Fairview Drive, Beverly Drive, Airport Road, Sage Street, Longview Way, David Street, Saliman Road and Clearview Drive.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Misdemeanor drunken driving arrest at Second Street and River Avenue in Mason Valley at 12:48 a.m.

• Accident on Wedge Lane in Fernley at 7:08 a.m.

• Accident on Affonso Drive in Mound House at 12:39 p.m.

• Hit-and-run accident report at Fernley Elementary School at 2:46 p.m.

• Accident on Highway 208, 10 miles south of Smith Valley, at 4:38 p.m.

• Accident on Campbell Lane in Mason Valley at 8:23 p.m. and 8:49 p.m.
