Marqi D. Johnson

Marqi D. Johnson, 83, a 26-year Carson City resident, died Jan. 17, 2007, in Carson City. A memorial service is pending.

Mrs. Johnson was born Dec. 28, 1923, in Pixley, Calif., to David Dean Able and Maggie Parker. She was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters, a daughter and her youngest son.

She married Ernest W. Johnson. Prior to living in Carson City she resided in Fresno, Calif.

Mrs. Johnson was a 1941 graduate of Sanger High School and attended Truckee Elementary School. She was a dietitian and housewife.

Among her survivors are her husband of 40 years; children Mike Robinson, Danny Robinson and Skip Robinson; sister Eula Young of Fresno; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
