The Nevada State Library and Archives will provide free Legislative Hotline phone service throughout the 2007 legislative session, Feb. 5 through June 4.
Based in the State Library and Archives Building, 100 N. Stewart St., the hotline provides callers with information on Nevada legislative activities.
Services include status updates and summaries of bills, committee agendas and schedules and contact information and identification of bills by subject. The hotline will also mail copies of bills and available informational handouts by phone request.
Hotline staff will even help callers navigate the legislative Web site to find information available on the Internet.
Hotline service is available 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The hotline is made possible by the Nevada State Library and Archives and a federal Library Services and Technology Act grant.
