Carson City's Robert Perez has made his major goal cone true by qualifying for the American Motorcycle Association Air Natiques Amateur National Motocross Championships to be held in August at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Tennessee.
Perez was the No. 1 qualifier in the Novice C Motocross Class at the Loretta
Lynn Northwest Regional Qualifier held in Washougal, Wash., this past weekend. Loretta's is the biggest amateur motocross event in the United States and possibly the world.
Perez will next race in the Southwest Regional Qualifier at Glen Helen in San Bernardino, Calif. in June in an effort to qualify for Loretta Lynn's in the MX Lites C Class.
