The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Carl Carter, 48, an unemployed transient, was arrested at 11 a.m. Thursday on a Texas warrant for suspicion of being a felony fugitive from parole. No bail was set.
• Keith Flenoir, 45, an unemployed transient, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. Thursday on a Carson City warrant for suspicion of felony failure to appear on a charge of obtaining money under false pretenses. Bail was set at $20,000.
• Victor Shane Pugh, 25, a transient construction worker, was arrested at 7:15 p.m. in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on a Montana warrant for suspicion of being a felony from parole. No bail was set.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• Fraud report on South Carson Street at 12:54 a.m.
• Battery report at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 2:11 a.m. A man reported he was assaulted at a Mound House bar.
• Accident at West Fourth and South Curry streets at 9:22 a.m.
• Accident at Fifth and South Curry streets at 2:26 p.m.
• Coroner call in the 3200 block of Imperial Way at 6:51 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• A report at 7:40 a.m. of approximately six loads of railroad ties found at the school gate on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley as a possible senior prank.
• A report of a gun stolen from Juggs Circle in Mason Valley sometime in March.
• A report of three boys on bicycles playing chicken with cars on Farm District Road in Fernley at 11:57 a.m.
• Arrest on Highway 50 East in Mound House at 6:32 p.m.
