Sophia Raphael of Carson City is one of 134 students at the University of Nevada, Reno's College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources named to the dean's list for the 2007 spring semester.
Sophia is a bio-chem major and is the daughter of Patty Shanault and Joe Raphael, both of Carson City. She is a 2006 graduate and co-valedictorian of Carson High School.
She has maintained a 4.0 grade point average during her first year at UNR.
