Visitation for Stanley Arthur Hart, 76, a Dayton resident for the past five years, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Autumn Funerals & Cremations.
A funeral will be 2 p.m. at the mortuary, and burial will follow at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Mr. Hart died June 21, 2007.
He was born May 2, 1931, in Alameda, Calif., to Arthur and Doris Hart.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Hayward, Calif.
He grew up and attended school in Redding, Calif., and Hayward, graduating from Hayward High School in 1949.
He married Lorraine Perry on Jan. 17, 1953, in San Leandro, Calif.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from March 1952-March 1954.
Following his military service, Mr. Hart worked as a welder then as a maintenance foreman for 40 years.
He enjoyed bowling, golfing, woodworking, gardening and playing slot machines.
Among his survivors are his wife of Dayton; children Gregory and Rick, both of Hayward, Calif., Chris of Escalon, Calif., and Denise Render of Medina, Ohio; brothers Gene and Jerry; 10 grandchildren; a niece; and six nephews.
