A funeral for Leona McDonald, 88, a lifetime Gardnerville resident will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Walton's.
Mrs. McDonald died June 27, 2007, in Gardnerville. She was born Nov. 19, 1918 in Gardnerville to Harry Fillmore and Pansy Mae Henry.
She married Lester McDonald.
Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker and a member of the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.
Among her survivors are sons Wilford, Roger, Russell and Calvin and daughters Charlotte McDonald, Madeline McDonald, Carolyn Ewing and daughter Justine Koos, all of Gardnerville and Jeanette Blevins of San Diego. She was a grandmother of five generations.
Burial will be at Woodfords Indian Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of the arrangements.
