Glenn D. Hurt, 82, a 45-year Yerington resident, died Feb. 26, 2007, at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington.
Mr. Hurt was born March 19, 1924, in Salt Lake City, to Harry and Catherine Featherstone Hurt.
Before moving to Yerington, Mr. Hurt lived in Gerlach.
He worked for the state of Nevada as a trapper.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Among his survivors are his wife, Christine Hurt, of Yerington; daughter Glenda Homan of Yerington; son Greg Hurt of Yerington; sister Laura Sorenson; brother Ray Hurt; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no memorial services, at Mr. Hurt's request.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington is in charge of arrangements.
