The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Daniel Scott Benson, 20, a glass worker from Carson City, was arrested at 12:06 a.m. Sunday at Carson and Musser streets on suspicion of felony possession of cocaine, possession of a prescription drug without a prescription and misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $2,707.
• A 19-year-old tire changer from Carson City was arrested at 2:55 a.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to pay fines. Bail was set at $905 cash.
• A 48-year-old unemployed Carson City resident was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of East Park Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.
• A 34-year-old phone sales representative from Carson City was arrested at 5:11 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence second offense. Bail was set at $2,500.
• A 20-year-old prep cook from Carson City was arrested at 5:24 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol and contempt of court. Bail was set at $578.
Lyon County
The following are some of the 117 calls to which deputies responded:
• A report of a domestic dispute in the 1700 block of Tuscarora Street in Silver Springs at 12:32 a.m. Saturday. A misdemeanor arrest was made.
• A report of a drunk driver on Breakwater Road in Dayton Valley at 3:18 a.m. Saturday. A misdemeanor arrest was made.
• A report that someone broke into a car and stole 30 oxycodone pills in the 100 block of Farmington Way in Fernley at 9:27 a.m. Saturday.
• A report of juveniles lighting the seat of a car on fire in the 500 block of Nader Way in Fernley at 9:51 a.m. Saturday.
• A report of a domestic dispute in the 20 block of Wilhoyt Lane in Mason Valley at 5:03 p.m. Saturday. A misdemeanor arrest was made.
• A woman reported that several juveniles drove by and shot at her children with a BB gun in the 500 block of Ranch Road in Fernley at 8:22 p.m. Saturday.
Storey County
The following are some of the 17 calls to which deputies responded:
• A report of a stolen video camera at a bar on South C Street in Virginia City at 3:33 p.m. Saturday.
• A report of a fight at a bar on South C Street in Virginia City at 1:22 a.m. Sunday.
• A report of a domestic dispute involving a man throwing objects on Grizzley Road at 2:32 a.m. Sunday.
