Charles James McKinney, 59, a four-month resident of Yerington died March 6, 2007, at his home.
Mr. McKinney was born Feb. 19, 1948, in Tacoma, Wash., to Charles L. and Mildred McKinney. He grew up in Seattle and then moved to Southern California where he lived for the past 10 years.
He worked for the Simpson Corp., in Chino, Calif. He was a member of the Vineyard Fellowship Church in Yerington.
Among his survivors are his brothers Laurence of Yerington, Michael of Puyallup, Wash., and Gerald of Decatur, Ala., and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was Saturday at the Vineyard Fellowship Church with Pastor David Chism officiating.
