Sertoma's Wild Game Feed Friday


The Carson Sertoma Club will be holding its annual Game Feed at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr. There will be food, drinks, raffle prizes, a shotgun door prize and the Bud Girls. Tickets are $20. Call 883-9678 or 885-7579.


It's family reading night at Seeliger


Seeliger Elementary School will be holding its 15th annual Family Reading Night from 6-8 p.m. today as part of Nevada Reading Week. Families will have the opportunity to have a professional portrait taken with their favorite books for $10, and parents can test themselves to see if they are "Smarter than a Fifth Grader." 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown' starts at WNCC Friday


The Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company will open its new performance area with "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday from Friday through April 8, and 2 p.m. for Saturday and Sunday matinees. Tickets are $18 general admission, $16 for students and seniors, and $14 for youth 17 and under. Call 445-4249.


Library to host 'Explore' program

Atlantis to host winemaker dinner


Atlantis Casino Resort Spa will serve fine wines paired with opulent cuisine at the Cosentino Winemaker Dinner on Thursday in the Atlantis Chianti Room. Seating begins at 6:30 p.m. with dinner to be served at 7. The cost is $95 per person, including tax and gratuity. Call 824-4467. Must be 21.




Reno Planetarium hosting art exhibit


Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center at the University of Nevada, Reno is showing exhibitions of astronomy-themed artwork in the new Art/Space Gallery on the planetarium's lower level.


Showing currently is "Portraits of Space," an exhibition of watercolor paintings by South Lake Tahoe artist Marianna Lucido, who also works in acrylics and pastels. The Art/Space Gallery is free and open daily.


Fleischmann Planetarium is north of Lawlor Events Center at Virginia and 16th streets, on the University of Nevada, Reno campus, 1.5 miles north of the downtown Reno arch. Free parking is available in the West Stadium Parking Complex.
