A memorial service for Zelda Bergstrom, 76, a 57-year Nevada resident, will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bergstrom died March 23, 2007, at her home. She was born March 31, 1930, in Springfield, Mo., to Francis Buck Foster and Iva A. Gilley.
She retired from Copeland Lumber in Carson City. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning and browsing for bargains. She was an active supporter of the Douglas High School Rodeo and participated in the Candy Dance.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Roy Steele.
Among her survivors are her husband Veryl Bergstrom of Gardnerville; daughter Coral Boganes; sons Don Chamberlain and Mark Lealtad; stepdaughter Cheryl Burns; stepson John Bergstrom; stepsister Jean Wolhor; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous extended-family members in Nevada and Missouri.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
