Donald Kettinger, 87, a Nevada resident since 1982, died May 4, 2007, after a long illness.
Mr. Kettinger was born Nov. 4, 1919, in Monroe, Mich.
He attended Catholic school and served as an alter boy.
He worked for McClouth Steel in Trenton, Mich., as a welder for 18 years. Mr. Kettinger served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards.
Among his survivors are his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Kettinger; sons, Jerry Kettinger of Big Bear Lake, Calif., Ronald Kettinger of Phoenix, and Gary Kettinger of Wyandotte, Mich.; daughters, Katherine Eckert of Monroe and Jeanann Nagy of Markleeville, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
