The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 31-year-old heavy-equipment operator from Carson City was arrested at 12:32 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000.


• A 22-year-old cable installer from Carson City was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 3000 block of North Roop Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence and two counts of failure to appear. No bail was set.


• A 44-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 6:36 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor criminal contempt and obstructing or resisting a peace officer. Bail was set at $887 cash.


• A 33-year-old unemployed Dayton resident was arrested at 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt and possession to stolen property. Bail was set at $1,500 cash.


• A 35-year-old fencer from Carson City was arrested at 9:01 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor criminal contempt and a misdemeanor warrant. Bail was set at $1,398.


• Adeola Toma Talbi, 22, a cook from Rialto, Calif., was arrested at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 3800 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony burglary, auto burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and four counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $26,132.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of shots fired that turned out to be fireworks in the 500 block of Jackson Way at 9:59 p.m. Wednesday.


• Report of a fight in the 300 block of East William Street at 12:07 a.m. Thursday.


• A fight was reported in the 2700 block of Menlo Circle at 2:04 a.m. Thursday.


• Report of a fight in the 300 block of East William Street at 2:23 a.m. Thursday.


Lyon County


The following are some of the 105 calls to which deputies responded:


• A customer threatening bodily harm with a gun at a store in the 1100 block of Highway 95A in Fernley at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday.


• A report of a domestic dispute in the 8100 block of Pueblo Drive in Stagecoach at 6:22 p.m. Wednesday.


• Someone was throwing rocks at a vehicle in the 600 block of Wedge Lane in Fernley at 11:07 p.m. Wednesday.


Storey County


The following are some of the 32 calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of an attempted burglary on Cartwright Way at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday.


• A report of vandalism on Avenue De La Couleurs in Lockwood at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday.
