Uilani Gardner, 77, former Nevada resident for 25 years, died April 26, 2007, at her home in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
She was born Nov. 7, 1929, in Los Angeles.
She retired from the Carson City School District.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a former Waikiki Beach tandem surfer known as "Squeeky" with Rabbit Kekai.
Among her survivors are daughters Darlene Olich of Las Vegas and Lynn Garrett of Kailua-Kona; son Michael Gardner of Reno and nine grandchildren.
A private service will be held in Hawaii. Cremation Services of West Hawaii is in charge of arrangements.
