Prelim delayed for man accused of multiple sex assaults

A preliminary hearing for Ronald Ray Harris scheduled for Thursday was delayed until June 13.

Harris requested additional time after talking with his parents, who agreed to hire a private attorney to defend him.

Harris is charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of kidnapping and one count of possession of a stolen vehicle for incidents involving two women in a canyon in the Lockwood area. He is also being investigated for up to three other sexual assaults in the Reno area within the last two months.

Harris is being held on $225,000 bail.
