Christmas is right around the corner, and Carson High School is featuring the 13th annual craft fair with more than 130 crafters, live music, a raffle and food to purchase as you mosey among the vendors.
Here is the special treat: You can bring the children and see Santa Claus and get a photo for $5. I am always surprised at the craft and specialty vendors that are here so come checkout this event.

The Food for Thought Food Drive is being hosted by Little People Portraits. Bring at least two nonperishable food items and receive a free 4-by-6-inch portrait of your child.
Food suggestions include microwaveable soups, individual juice boxes, crackers with peanut butter or cheese, Easy Mac and power bars. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
Rebecca Rund, who is coordinating a local "feed our children" program, will be collecting the food items and distributing them to elementary schoolchildren in the Carson City School District who do not have enough food. This allows children in need to take food home for the weekends so they do not go hungry.
Helping children starts here in our town. Be the difference.
