The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 27-year-old landscaper from Carson City was arrested at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday at Saliman Road and Como Street on suspicion of misdemeanor driving without a license and illegal left turn. Bail was set at $294.


• A 48-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 9:54 a.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of East Telegraph Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and failure to maintain lane. Bail was set at $1,306.


• A 42-year-old welder from Carson City was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of misdemeanor threats. Bail was set at $632.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Report of a man with a cut to his face in the 3800 block of South Carson Street at 12:15 a.m.


• Report of a vehicle striking a tree on East Spear Street at 9:15 a.m.


• Accident report at Airport Road and Highway 50 East at 10:09 a.m.


• Report of two tires being flattened on a vehicle in the 200 block of Mountain Street at 12:33 p.m.


• Report of a fight in the 300 block of South Carson Meadows Drive at 12:52 p.m. The suspect was gone when police arrived, but he can be arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, according to the dispatch report.


• Report of a fight in the 1100 block of East William Street at 2:27 p.m. One person was treated for injuries at the hospital.


• Report of a shoplifter at Scolari's "getting verbally and physically aggressive," at 3 p.m.


• Accident at East Washington and Stewart streets at 3:16 p.m.


• A shoplifting suspect who stole tequila, roses and sausage from Scolari's allegedly tried to run over the loss prevention officer in the parking lot at 5:14 p.m. The suspect can be arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and burglary.


• Accident on Roop Street at 10:04 p.m.


• Hit-and-run accident report at 10:49 p.m. on Menlo Drive. Caller reported a white Camry crashed into his vehicle then fled. The two drivers were arguing prior to the accident.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Report of tires stolen from a truck in the 900 block of Pilot Way in Fernley at 2:14 a.m.


• Arrest on Parkland Way at 7:02 a.m.


• Man reported that while he was taking his children to school, someone tried to kick in his Tanglewood Drive front door at 8:08 a.m. in Fernley.


• Coroner call on Phyllis Way at 1:05 p.m. in Stagecoach.


• Report of a vehicle backing into a bicyclist on Dayton Valley Road at 5:37 p.m.


• A Fernley mother reported that a man living nearby has been giving her 9-year-old gifts.


Storey County


The following people were booked into the Storey County Jail recently:


• A 46-year-old Virginia City man was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of drunken driving on State Route 342.


• A 38-year-old Virginia City Highlands man was arrested on Nov. 8 on suspicion of domestic battery.


• A 38-year-old California man was arrested Nov. 6 on suspicion of driving on a revoked license on State Route 341.
