Poultry Show at Fuji Park today
Northern Nevada 4-H Youth and Open Poultry Show Nov. 16-17 at Fuji Park Exhibit Hall. Coop-in will take place 7-8:30 a.m. Showmanship begins 9 a.m., Nov. 17, immediately followed by the Youth Show Judging. Open Show Judging follows on the heels of the Youth Show Judging.
A raffle drawing is scheduled for 3 p.m. and the Judging of Champions will be the grand finale at 5 p.m.
Coop-out will be at 6 p.m., and the hall will close by 8:30 p.m.

Candidate Ron Paul to speak Tuesday
Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul will speak in Carson City 7 p.m. Tuesday.
He is scheduled to address Carson City, Lyon and Mineral county Republicans at a dinner in the Carson Nugget's banquet room. Paul is a medical doctor specializing in gynecology and obstetrics who represents the 14th congressional district in Texas.
Sky viewing set to shine for novices
It's Novice Astronomy Night at the Jack C. Davis Observatory at Western Nevada College tonight.
