William Louis Cano, age 69 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2007, at his home following a sudden illness.
He was born March 6, 1938 in San Jose, California. He spent his early life in San Jose and graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic High School. In 1970 he moved to Carson City and later to Dayton in 1978. He owned and operated BBS Custom Cabinets in Mound House for many years before selling and retiring 15 years ago. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, landscaping his home, and archery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rowe and Virginia. Survivors include 2 sons: Steve and his wife Kathy Cano of Carson City and Timothy J. Cano of Dayton. 2 daughters: Virginia M. and her husband Michael Lederer of Alamo, California and Tammy R. and husband Al Perales of Fremont, California. 1 brother: Rowe Cano of Lake Alamor, California. 5 grandchildren: Nicole Cano, Kasey Cano, Alexander Perales, Bailey Perales, and Lynsey Cano. He will be sorely missed by his loving family and a host of friends.
A public viewing will be held Friday, October 12th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Walton's Chapel of The Valley 1281 N. Roop St. Carson City, NV 89706. Funeral Services Saturday, October 13th at 11:00 a.m. in Walton's Chapel. Burial will be in Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.
