An arrest has been made in a Lake Tahoe casino stabbing, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Department.

"Secret Witness information was received after our local news media broadcast a plea for information concerning an incident in which a 23 year-old Carson City man was stabbed several times in a dispute over a parking spot," said Douglas Sheriff's Sgt. Tom Mezzetta in a news release. The stabbing happened Oct. 11.

Remengesau William Erunge, 24, of Reno was arrested Saturday on a warrant charging him with attempted murder with the use of a deadly weapon.

He is currently held under a $100,000.00 cash only bail and will be returned to Douglas County within the next couple of days to face those charges, Mezzetta said.
