Dayton boys soccer finishes league unbeaten

Jacob Council scored for the Dayton High boys soccer team to help the Dust Devils secure a 1-1 tie against Yerington on Wednesday.

The tie helped Dayton finish unbeaten in the Northern 3A for the first time in school history. Dayton (9-2-4, 6-0-4) won the Northern 3A regular season title and will enter the zone playoffs, which begin a week from today, as the No. 1 seed.
