Silver State Rumble is Saturday

The seventh annual Silver State Rumble presented by Bruno's Boxing Club will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Carson City Community Center.

Admission is $10, $5 for senior citizens. Admission is free for those under 12. Along with Bruno's Boxing Club, boxing clubs scheduled to be represented include the Lovelock Warriors, Rite of Passage, Yerington, Reno Jets, Arce Boxing, Carson City Boxing Club, Wadsworth Boxing, Maverick Boxing and Elko.

The main event will be Gabe Sanchez, 20, against Tipton Hinkey, 28, at 195 pounds. The semi-main event will be Michael Gason, 16, vs. Jeremy Lloyo at 147 pounds.

About 10 fights are scheduled. All bouts are subject to change. Doors open at 4 p.m.
