The power is reportedly out in some areas of East Carson City, causing traffic signals to not work .
The outage has affected at least the intersections of Fairview and Pheasants drives and Fairview Drive at Highway 50 East.
Carson City deputies and street crews are responding to the area. Drivers are asked to proceed with caution.
