Rosie P. Farrell

Rosie P. Farrell, 85, a Yerington resident, died Aug. 31, 2007, at South Lyon Medical Center.

Mrs. Farrell was born Jan. 3, 1922, to John Polish and Rosie Legierski in Yerington. She married Beryl "Slim" Farrell on June 7, 1958. She was a homemaker and worked on local farms and did house cleaning. She enjoyed being close to nature.

Among her survivors are her husband of Yerington, sons and daughters-in-law, James and Lynn Henderson and Bruce and Rose Henderson; grandchildren, Kris Harkins of Harrisburg, Pa., Eric Henderson of Stagecoach, Scott Henderson of Reno, Russelle Smith and Brandee Smith, both of Yerington; great grandchildren, Megan and Ricky Harkins of Harrisburg, Pa., Chloe Henderson of Stagecoach and Katy Smith of Yerington; brother, John Polish of Ely.

At Mrs. Farrell's request there will be no memorial service.

Cremation will take place at Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home.
