48th annual Virginia City International Camel Races

When: 1-6 p.m. today through Sunday

Where: Camel Race Arena, F Street

A Grand Parade will take place noon Saturday on C Street

The Camel Hump Ball with live music and a silent auction will take place 7 p.m.-midnight tonight at the new Long Branch Saloon.

23rd annual Carson Valley Street Celebration

10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in downtown Minden.

There will be more than 100 arts and crafts booths set up on Esmeralda Street. Kick back and enjoy the country sounds of Crimson Collar while sipping a cold libation and enjoying a variety of foods from Mexican to barbecue.
