A funeral service for Ruth E. Wade, 64, a 19-year Dayton resident, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Mrs. Wade died Sept. 9, 2007, at her residence. She was born Feb. 26, 1943, to Joseph D. Bills and Caroline Eva Smith, in Albany, N.Y. She lived in Kingston, N.Y., prior to moving to Dayton. She married Dale R. Wade on Feb. 14, 1981, in Kingston. She was a public servant. She enjoyed family, fishing, reading, driving, bowling, gardening, and camping.
She was preceded in death by son Michael in December 1993; mother in July 2003, father in 1966, and sister Faith in June 2000.
Among her survivors are her husband; son Edward; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and David Sanford; brother Joseph; sister Carrie; sisters and brothers-in-law Fern and Al and Gail and Steve; grandchildren Travis Wade, Victoria, Scott and Jake; friend Alecia Davis; numerous nieces and nephews aunts and uncles.
Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory.
