Players to stage 'Blithe Spirit' comedy

Proscenium Players' first show of the 2007-2008 season is "Blithe Spirit" by Noel Coward. It opens today at the Donald W. Reynolds Theatre at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 W King St.

This smash comedy was a hit of the London and Broadway stages. The ingenious plot tells how novelist Charles Condomine invites into his placid country home an eccentric, breezy lady medium in order to learn the language of the occult.

Show dates are Sept. 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 at 8 p.m. and Sept. 23 and 30 at 2 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for PPI/BAC members, students and seniors and $12 general admission at 883-1976 or see www.prosceniumplayers.com.

This production is directed by Warren Schader and produced by Pat Josten.
