YERINGTON " The five women and seven men who Monday decided Christopher Deyerle was guilty of first-degree murder in the May 2006 slaying of his wife today recommended he spend the rest of his life in prison, but with a chance at parole.
It took about two and a half hours of deliberation today for the jury to decide the 26-year-old Dayton man's fate.
The jury could also have chosen to sentence Deyerle to life without the possibility of parole or a term of 20 to 50 years in prison.
