Kathleen Ann Whitefield

A celebration of life for Kathleen Ann Whitefield, 57, a nine-year resident of Minden, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ferris Recreation Park, 1751 Orbit Way in Minden.

Mrs. Whitefield died Sept. 17, 2007, in Minden. She was born Dec. 5, 1949, to Robert T. and Lois Rae O'Hara in Omaha, Neb. Prior to moving to Minden she lived in Gilbert, Ariz. She married Dave Whitefield on Dec. 28, 1968, in Lincoln, Neb.

She was a homemaker and a cancer patient advocate. She enjoyed reading and movies.

Among her survivors are her husband of 38 years of Minden; sons and daughters-in-law Scott and Kristen Whitefield of Phoenix, Bob and Chris Whitefield of Minden; sons Joel Whitefield of Carson City and Mike Whitefield of Reno; daughter Heather Whitefield of Tempe, Ariz.; brothers and sisters-in-law Tom and Jackie O'Hara of Plattsmouth, Neb., and Matt and Anastasia O'Hara of Lakeville, Minn.; sister Eileen Kes of Pryor Lake, Minn.
