Robert "Bob" Stevenson, 90, passed away March 27, 2008 in Carson City.
Robert was born July 23, 1917 in Somerville, Massachusetts to John and Beatrice Stevenson. He married his wife Beatrice May 7, 1938.
Robert has resided in Carson City for 28 years, moving from San Lorenzo, Calif. He is a Catholic and attended St. Teresa Catholic Church. He was a member of the Teamster's Union. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and his many friends at the Carson Nugget.
His wife, Beatrice who passed away in 1996 and brother, George Stevenson who passed away in 2006, precede Robert in death.
His daughters, Jacqueline B. Bryant and her husband, Thomas and Carol A. Brooking and her husband, John all from Carson City, will dearly miss Robert. He also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Evelyn Stevenson of Walnut Creek, Calif. and nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, Va. 22312.
A Memorial Service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley has been entrusted with his final arrangements.
