Charles "Bud" Couch , 74, passed away April 3, 2008, in Pomona, Kan. Bud was born December 31, 1933 in Hot Springs, Ark. to Claude and Georgia (Singleton) Couch.
Bud was a commercial sheet metal worker for over fifty years. Following retirement, he worked 10 years as security for the Carson Nugget Casino in Carson City.
He was a member of Sheet Metal Unions No. 108 and No. 26 in California and Nevada.
He married Joanne Plaggerman January 21, 1951 in Yuma, Ariz. They celebrated 57 years of marriage.
He was preceded in death by his father Claude Couch, mother Georgia (Singleton) Couch and sister Betty Dottl.
Bud is survived by wife Joanne (Plaggerman) Couch; daughter Cheryl Jeffery of Reno; son Dave Couch of Pomona, Kan.; three grandchildren, Jennifer Ludwig of Reno, Jason Davenport of Carson City, Cory Couch of Portland, Ore.; three great-grandchildren, Katie Ludwig of Reno, Ashton and Tyler Davenport of Carson City.
Cremation is planned. No services are planned at this time. Dengel and Son Mortuary have been entrusted with final arrangements.
