Forest Service conducts burns near Tahoe

RENO " The U.S. Forest Service says prescribed burns to reduce fuel loads in the Lake Tahoe region will continue this week.

Work will take place in the areas of Rubicon, Kingsbury Grade and Cave Rock.

Officials advise that smoke may be visible.
