Carson City's original two Sierra Nevada Soccer Club teams faced off in a nine and under boys preseason game on Sunday with Brazil beating the Chivas 6-4.
Brazil led the Chivaz 4-1 at halftime before the Chivas fought back to tie the score 4-4. Brazil went on to win on goals from Jose Adrian Jr. and Oscar Ventura, who led all scorers with two goals.
Also scoring for Brazil were Romero Yanez, Luke Heinrichs and Roberto Gonzalez. Jason Alonso also played well at goalie, limiting the Chivas to one goal on seven shots in the first half. Among those who scored for the Chivas were Alex Gonzalez and Adrian Cordova.
