Earth Day events at Western Nevada College; take a Muscle Powered walk

Earth Day at Western Nevada College, 2201 W. College Parkway. Students offer free events, information and giveaways to the community about caring for Mother Earth.

The college's new Sustainable Living Group shows a free film about global warming, "An Inconvenient Truth," at Marlette Hall in the Cedar Building at 12:15 and 7 p.m.

Muscle Powered Walk at Centennial Park Walk, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Meet leader Donna Inversin at back of the park opposite the ball fields. Must be member and may join at start of walk.
