Opening statements began Tuesday in the sexual assault trial of a Stagecoach man accused of lewdness with two young girls.
Scott Jensen, 50, is charged with six counts of lewdness with a child under 14 and one count of sexual assault of a child under 14.
According to court records, Jensen was arrested Oct. 17 on a warrant for seven counts of lewdness and one count of sexual assault.
Following a preliminary hearing in Dayton in November, Jensen was bound over on all but one lewdness charge.
According to the criminal complaint, on separate occasions in June 2005 at his Calico Trail home, Jensen allegedly groped two girls, 13 and 10; had the girls dance naked while he fondled himself; and had them view pornography on his computer and touch him. He also allegedly sexually assaulted the 10-year-old in July 2005.
Jensen has denied the allegations.
He remains in the Lyon County Jail in lieu of $430,000 bail.
