Bethlehem Lutheran School hosts book fair


Bethlehem Lutheran School will host a Scholastic Book Fair, 2:15-315 p.m., today; 8-9 a.m. and 2:15-3:15 p.m. Thursday-Monday, May 1-5, 1837 Mountain Street. Funds raised will be used to buy books for the classroom libraries. For information, call 882-5252.


Legacy Corps seeking volunteers


The Nevada Legacy Corps is in need of volunteers for its Nevada Legacy Corps for Caregivers program. Volunteers will be trained and compensated for their work. The NLC provides respite care to allow caregivers and families to receive a break. They want to provide support and relief for families and the caregivers they hire. Court Appointed Special Advocates sponsors a 5k run/walk 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at Long Ranch Park, Longview Way.
