Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- Sergio Alberto Rodriguez-Duran, 26, a construction worker from Carson City, was arrested at 7:12 a.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Musser Street on suspicion of felony possession of a phony document to establish false status, misdemeanor driving without a valid license and failure to yield to a pedestrian. Bail was set at $6,389.
- An 18-year-old landscaping employee from Carson City was arrested at 12:11 a.m. Monday at Cinnabar and Agate streets on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence, drunken driving, minor consuming alcohol and failure to use headlights. Bail was set at $4,436.
- Donald Schumaker, 71, a business owner from Gardnerville, was arrested at 12:02 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and driving without insurance.
- A 36-year-old bartender from Carson City was arrested at 2:07 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation. He was allegedly intoxicated in violation of his probation on an earlier arrest. The man pointed out to the arresting officers that his ex-girlfriend, against whom he has a stalking order, was across the street watching him. He said that before he was arrested, when he asked her why she was there, she told him she was there to watch him get arrested. The deputy checked dispatch records and found an earlier report against the man in which an anonymous caller reported he was at a different bar earlier in the day.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
- Report of items stolen from a room in the 1700 block of North Carson Street at 1:37 a.m.
- Report of a fight in a room on Spear Street in which a baby stayed at 6:10 a.m.
- Coroner call in the 1200 block of Colorado Street at 6:46 a.m.
- Attempted residential burglary report on Hamilton Avenue at 8:54 a.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
- Coroner call Circle Drive in Fernley at 11:37 a.m.
- A business owner reported a man living illegally in a bus behind his business, threatened him when he said something to him at 1:04 p.m. in Mound House.
- A woman reported at 8:17 p.m. on Highway 339 in Mason Valley that she stopped at a rest stop to use the bathroom and when she emerged her green Ford Rodeo with Nevada plates 512MVJ has been stolen.
