Faith Maria Turtle passed away Aug. 5, 2008 after a long battle with an illness. She was born Dec. 7, 1966 in Deadwood, S.D.
She was preceded in death by her father William (Bill) Turtle and brother Carl Turtle.
She is survived by mother Aleena Rednose of Carson City, daughter Cheyenna Kochamp of California, sons Jorel Turtle and Kaine Nevers both of Carson City and long time companion Don Oliver.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m., Sunday at the Carson Indian Colony Gym, 2800 South Curry St. Burial will follow at the Stewart Indian Cemetery. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is caring for arrangements.
