Carson City


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


• Report of a child lost in the 2100 block of California Street at 2:07 a.m. The child was located.


• Report of someone attempting to break into a Wagon Wheel Road home overnight. The homeowner reported he heard noise about 3 a.m. When he went outside in the morning at 8 a.m. he found damage to the door. A deputy responded and found bear tracks in the area. From the look of the tracks, it was a "pretty good sized bear," the log states.


• Accident at 10 a.m. in the 1400 block of Rand Avenue.


• Coroner call in the 2900 block of Airport Road at 10:48 a.m.


• Coroner call in the 3000 block of Ormsby Boulevard at 3:01 p.m.


• Report of a white BMW 311 with Nevada license plates from the 100 block of South Harbin Street.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


• Misdemeanor arrest in Fernley at 12:34 a.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Main Street in Fernley at 4:19 a.m.


• A caller reported finding a watch and some coins in Mason Valley.


• A caller reported at 10:57 a.m. that a driver behind her vehicle was "beating" and screaming at his 12- or 13-year-old child on Citrus Street.


• Residential burglary report on Emigrant Way in Fernley at 2:43 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Sante Fe Trail in Stagecoach at 5:31 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


• Report of a vicious pit bull on the loose on Main Street at 9:33 a.m.


• Arrest in Gold Hill at 12:50 p.m.
