Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Travis James Hayes, a 33-year-old Gardnerville carpenter and tattoo artist, was arrested at 10:13 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony failure to appear after he was sentenced. No bail was set.

- A 36-year-old New York City advertising manager was arrested at 2:49 a.m. Monday near the corner of Highway 50 East and Deer Run Road on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, failure to dim headlights and failure to stay in a lane. Bail was set at $1,431.

- A 57-year-old Carson City pole climber was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Fairmont Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,132.

- David Harold Sandvand, a 55-year-old unemployed Carson City man, was arrested at 3:50 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of West Park Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor battery of an officer and misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,500.

- An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 3:16 p.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of North Roop Street on suspicion of drinking alcohol as a minor. Bail was set at $237.


Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

- A man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving at 10:22 p.m. in Silver Springs near Lahontan Drive and Toiyabe Street.

- Report of a woman being punched in the chest by a former lover at 10:37 p.m. in Mark Twain.


Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

- Report of five to six people going between rail cars at 11:49 a.m. on Painted Rock Road.

- Report of a teenage boy verbally abusing people at 5:54 p.m. in Miner's Park.
