Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Thomas Harold Edward, 49, of Carson City, was arrested at 6:56 p.m. Thursday in the 3400 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony attempting to evade a peace officer, misdemeanor drunken driving, driving without a valid license and failing to wear a helmet and eye protection. Bail was set at $8,901.

- Eybar Uribe-Martinez, a 32-year-old medical billing clerk, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony use of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $2,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- Report of a juvenile being detained by a resident after being caught breaking into a vehicle on Lompa Lane at 1:07 a.m. By the time deputies arrived, the juvenile had fled the caller. He was later arrested and taken to juvenile detention.

- Report of someone stealing two cases of beer from the 4100 block of South Carson Street at 4:28 a.m.

- Coroner call in the 2200 block of Empire Ranch Road at 8:50 a.m.

- Coroner call in the 1100 block of Partridge Drive at 4:24 p.m.

- A woman reported at 7:25 p.m. that her boyfriend slapped her, punched her cat and took her money on Imperial Way.

- Report of a party with a campfire up by the water tower in Ash Canyon at 8 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- Coroner call on Brown Drive in Mound House at 8:06 a.m.

- Vehicle burglary report on Red Oak Court in Fernley at 11:02 a.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest on F Street in Fernley at 1:43 p.m.

- Commercial burglary report on Highway 50 East in Silver Springs at 1:58 p.m.
