MINDEN, Nev. (AP) " Authorities say a Douglas High School student has been arrested and three others have been implemented in an investigation into the sale of Ecstasy.
The investigation began in November when school officials learned that some students were trying to distribute the illegal synthetic drug to fellow students.
Sheriff's officials say one student has been arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and three others are being investigated for sales of a controlled substance.
Detectives say the pills were purchased in Sacramento and brought back to Nevada by one of the students.
Authorities say one student who purchased some of the pills overdosed at a friend's house, requiring emergency medical care to rescue him.
