The Rainbow Girls Annual Gift Wrap starts today at the north end of the Carson Mall Shopping Center and runs through Wednesday, Dec. 24. The gift wrap service will be open during mall hours. Young at Heart Senior Citizens Club is holding a member drive through December. The goal is for 500 members. Annual dues are $3 and membership is open to anyone age 55 or older. Funds raised by Young at Heart are used throughout the year for projects including gift bags for the Holidays, repairs and upkeep at the Senior Center and fundraising for a new center. "The 12 Gifts of Christmas" will be presented today in Dayton as a benefit for Lyon County's Shop with a Sheriff.
The collection of 12 skits will be performed by MFH Production, members of the Misfits Theater Company, and local child actors. It is directed and choreographed by Jan Duke.
The show begins at 4 p.m. today at Chucks Old West Grill at 65 Pike Street in Old Town Dayton.
