SQUAW VALLEY " The two young women and 17-year-old Loma Rica girl found dead Tuesday in a parking lot north of Lake Tahoe near Squaw Valley USA are reported to have been residing in the ski resort's hostel, according to the Appeal Democrat, the hometown newspaper of the two older victims.

Lacy Louann Sutton, 22, sold lift tickets for the resort, Sara Alice McCullah worked in a locker rental office, while the 17-year-old girl worked in the uniform department, the report said.

Before coming to Squaw for the winter Sutton worked the morning shift at the Marysville Quiznos restaurant, McCullah worked full time as a certified nursing assistant at Marysville Nursing and Rehabilitation, and the young girl had just returned from Australia and New Zealand where she spent a month as an ambassador with the People to People program, said the report.

The car the three victims were found in was apparently McCullah's older model Buick, a "real piece of (expletive)," said Tyisha Abram, a fellow nurse at Marysville Nursing and Rehabilitation.

The parents of the victims had traveled to Squaw on Thursday.
