Frances Earle Nielsen

Frances Earle Nielsen passed away Dec. 20, 2008. She was 90 years old.

She was born Feb. 16, 1918 to Jack and Susie (Bennett) Earle in Salem, Ore., although she spent most of her life in Eureka, Calif. She moved to Carson City eight years ago to be closer to her family. She was married to Alfred Nielsen June 30, 1951.

Frances was a music teacher for more then 60-years. She touched many people's lives through both her love of teaching and her dedication to Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Carson City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Ernestine and Barbara.

She is survived by her daughter, Inger Hotho, son-in-law Steve, grandchildren Jack and Devyn, and two nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Shannon Rew Nielsen, a son adopted later in life.

Her family appreciates the love and care given to her by her special friend, Kathy Cole.
