HENDERSON " An arrest report says a 32-year-old Henderson music teacher found strangled in his home may have had an inappropriate relationship with one of two teens who told police they killed him.

Matthew Cox, a choir instructor at Basic High School, was found dead in his home last week.

Two teen brothers, 18-year-old Jose Antonio Delatorre and 17-year-old Juan Enrique Aguirre, have been booked on murder and robbery charges.

The arrest report says Jamie Quashnock, a friend of Cox, told investigators that Cox had recently been in a relationship with one of his students, who recently told Cox he was gay. The report says Cox told Quashnock that he would have pursued a relationship with the student if he were not his teacher. Court officials redacted the student's name.

The report says Aguirre told police that Cox made sexual advances toward him, making him uncomfortable.
