Three new members have been named by Gov. Jim Gibbons to Nevada's Economic Forum, which comes up with the revenue estimates that lawmakers must follow in preparing the state's budget.
Gibbons' appointees include John Restrepo of Las Vegas, head of Restrepo Consulting LLC; Linda Rosenthal of Reno, director of treasury operations for International Game Technology; and Cathy Santoro of Las vegas, senior vice president and terasurer of MGM Mirage.
They replace Paul Cary Fisher, Bill Martin and Deborah Pierce, whose terms expired last week, on the five-member Economic Forum.
The panel consists of three members named by the governor, one appointed by the Senate majority leader and another named by the state Assembly speaker to a two-year term.
