Galena High's Luke Babbitt has been named as a McDonald's All-American basketball player.
The McDonald's All-American teams will be officially named on Tuesday, but
Babbitt confirmed on Monday night he was one of the 24 seniors to be named
to the team.
Twelve players from the West and 12 players from the East will compete
against each other when the McDonald's All-American Game will be televised
live at 5:30 p.m. March 26 from Milwaukee, Wisc.
Babbitt, the state's all-time leading scorer, will play for Nevada next
year.
